IBooks from CAWP

During the 2015 Advanced Summer Institute, teacher consultants and teacher fellows wrote together. Their writing was grounded in teacher expertise that had been interrogated through reflection and teacher-action. Further, avoiding the clichés and superhero stories so often associated with writing about classrooms, their work shows the complexity, ambiguity, contradiction, and unknowable in classrooms. Two books (available now as iBooks) describe writing nonfiction in elementary classrooms (K-5) and working with digital composing in elementary grades. These books are available free of charge in iBook format; they will also soon be available as ebooks.
