Teaching Argumentative Writing

July 9-13, 2012

This summer CAWP will offer a course on teaching argumentative writing organized around teachers’ experiences with and expertise in this type of writing.In this week-long course we will study, discuss, and share teaching practices for the teaching and learning of argumentative writing. Each day participating teachers will have the opportunity to write their own arguments, extend their current understandings of argumentative writing, and exchange pedagogical approaches.
